My life and past have been transformed by the love of God! That is the central theme you’ll find here in everything I do, God’s love. It is the ONLY power that truly transforms and heals.
Just look at the woman at the well in John 4 or the adulterous woman in John 8 or the woman with the issue of blood in Matthew 9. The blind, lame, possessed and tormented. Every person touched by the love of God through Jesus Christ, walked away healed and changed forever. Even those who witnessed these miracles where never the same.
Our past and present struggles meet us every waking morning along with the worry and fear that comes with them. But what if you could replace that dread with the mercy of God meeting you every morning? The patience of God walking with you through every struggle? The power to overcome those searing mistakes and sins and trauma of the past?

I lived decades of my life in the burden of my past and the destruction that came with it. Relational abuse and trauma kept me trapped in shame and self-loathing. But when I cried out to God and said, “I want freedom and I don’t care what it costs me”, things began to change. I mean, really change.
God has taught me to honor my life by honoring myself and where I’ve been. The wounds of the soul are sacred and must be honored before celebration of our lives can begin. For so long we loathe who we were when we were injured and blame ourselves and the outcome is self-hatred and dishonor. When we begin to allow God to touch those wounds, we are transformed and begin to live a life that honors and celebrates the lives God has blessed us with, not matter how broken we have been.
